These are the ventilation towers for the Velsertunnel. The photo was taken from top of a cruise ship passing through the IJ (under which the tunnel runs). Aside from the aesthetics of the towers (and they have been declared a national monument), the two people sitting in lawn chairs at their feet watching the ships go by on a summer's day truly make the picture for me.

A building I came across in Vigo, Spain. We'll assume it's either a condemned building, or at least unused...

On our latest holiday, my Niece (4) and Nephew (8) shared a ride on a Very Scary Fairground Ride. They were very supportive of each other (and had lots of fun).

Spring has sprung this weekend, and it certainly brought a beautiful sunset last night:
