I took my first picture of a manhole cover in 2006, but didn't pick up the habit until 2012. Since then, I'm always keeping an eye out for interesting covers, preferably with town names attached.

Put together, they make for an interesting collection.

Tables and chairs on top of the Munot fortress tower in Schaffhausen, Switzerland make the best of the round shape of the tower. The pattern's also very obvious in Google maps

This pile of logs created an interesting pattern. Converting the photo to black and white focuses the eye even more on the pattern.

A lichen on a rock in Spain that caught my eye due to its shape and the color contrast with the rock.

London Eye

As someone tweeted yesterday: INSTALLING SUMMER.. ███████████████░░░░░░░░░░░░░░ 44% DONE Installation failed. Please try again. 404 error: Season not found.

That... feels very true. And this photo, while taken a few years ago, seems to fit the current summer.

The original photo of the London Eye was rather dull and somber, due to overcast weather. Trying to work with the photo instead of against it, I turned it into black and white and added some film grain to enhance the dreary atmosphere.
Another photo taken in Yellowstone National Park. Obviously, the roads were muddy. The pattern the mud made on the wheel amused me enough to capture it on camera.
