Tiled roof

Sep. 26th, 2012 11:44 am
While walking up a hill to get an overview of Monschau, Germany, I also got a very good view of how the roofs were tiled. Couldn't resist taking a picture of the fish scale pattern.

Taken during a winter's sunset, at a major construction site for a parking garage. Mostly just because I thought the cranes silhouetted against the colorful sky made for a pretty picture.

The radio tower atop the Peña Cabarga near Santander, Spain, made for some curious "pattern" photography.

A lichen on a rock in Spain that caught my eye due to its shape and the color contrast with the rock.

In the category of "interesting details in cities", a quaint door knocker in Blois, France.
