Another photo from the expedition cruise to Svalbard, Norway. The ice turned out to be too much for our ship, so we had to sail backward to get out of it. Obviously, this was watched with great interest by the passengers.

Huh, I could make this into a series: photos of people taking photos of wildlife...

This one was taken in Svalbard, Norway, during an expedition cruise. What the photo doesn't tell you (and be glad!) was the strong smell of the walrus that permeated the entire area.

During a fair in Lauwersoog harbor, there was some kind of diving safety demonstration in this tank. Though I wish I could've managed to cut more of the reflection in the glass, I do find the way the children are looking up at the upside-down man in the tank amusing.

While on safari in Africa with my family, several years ago, I found the behavior of the people almost as interesting as the sight of wild animals. Especially when, in Ngorongoro national park, a rhino was spotted and the call went out over the radio. The result, ten minutes later?
