Instead of cutting down the tree, the Swedes simply paved the road around it...

A nice, cool picture of frost-covered trees, on what promises to be a nice late-summer afternoon...

Simply because I loved the contrast between the red beech and the green trees.

Clearly, this old chestnut in Greenwich has seen some hard times over its life....

For today, Random.org gave me another tree picture. This time: the moss-covered roots of this tree in the woods near Chedworth, UK.

A pretty tree from an unusual angle.

Back after a two-week absence and visit to the UK (with lots of new photographs). And lo and behold! Random gave me one of the new pics to share.
