I'm generally used to seeing tulips neatly lined up in a field, or clustered in flowerbeds. In the Parco Giardino Sigurtà , Valeggio sul Mincio, Italy, they present their tulips entirely differently. It looks like someone scattered handfuls of bulbs at random.
I also liked the contrasting colors of the various flowers with the green of the grass and trees.

Tulip caress
Mar. 23rd, 2011 01:26 pmFrom the same series as Still life with tulips, a close-up of one of the tulips. I like how the leaf seems to "caress" the flower itself.
