Polite notice

Also, from a psychological/communications viewpoint, wording it as a positive "Please keep your dogs under control" is a lot more effective than a negative would've been (i.e. "Don't let your dogs run free" or something along those lines).
PSA: Don't feed the pigeons
Aug. 22nd, 2012 10:43 amPerhaps a bit of a controversial photo, this public service announcement poster in Luzern, Switzerland. But the idea is simple: if people don't feed the pigeons, they'll have to scrounge for their own food. As a result, less young pigeons will be born (only as much as the natural food sources will sustain). And voila: the city will have solved its pigeon problem, as evidenced by the graph. Certainly a better way than in my hometome, where they deliberated so much that in the end they had to take far more drastic measures than simply "Do Not Feed".
