While on safari in Kenya & Tanzania, we accompanied a couple of lionesses on their hunt for zebra. Rest assured, the presence of cars in this stage of the hunt did not stop them for catching and eating an actual zebra.

This, almost unreal, beautiful view can be found on Ilha Fernando de Noronha, off the Brazilian coast.

Nope, not a space alien, but an extreme close up of a poppy bud.

Clearly, the anti-pigeon wires are less than effective...

Simply because Iceland is so, so pretty....

During a hike around Clickimin Loch in Lerwick, Shetland Islands, a flock of small birds were flittering and chittering in the tall grasses. They were pretty well camouflaged.

Taken during a recent holiday in Iceland. Amazing landscapes. This was apparently one of the best fishing rivers in the country.
