This, almost unreal, beautiful view can be found on Ilha Fernando de Noronha, off the Brazilian coast.

All I had to do was wait for the small boat to sail into the exact right spot. The setting sun and the clouds did the rest....

River ferry, Brazilian style. During an excursion to Natal's sand dunes, we had to cross the river. Imagine the chaos when a dozen jeeps want to cross at once....

North of Natal, Brazil, are extensive sand dunes, that are popular with tourists for jeep trips. This toy-sized-looking jeep provides some perspective.

Palm trees, deep blue sky, a lovely sandy beach, the ocean... and then a warning sign.
