I liked the various diagonal lines and the patterns the blinds and sunscreens create. This, of course, is completed by the huge amount of parked scooters blocking in that single, lone car.

Florence, Italy, does not just have classic art. I bumped into this modern street art while strolling around. And how could I, as a Dutch person, not appreciate bicycle-related art? ;)

Narrow alley in the old part of Limone on the shores of the Garda Lake. The car actually accentuates how totally unsuited the streets are for motorized traffic....

Mother Nature sometimes employs odd sculptors... One of many Earth Pyramids near Oberwielenbach - Bruneck in Italy.

How could one resist the fiery color of this plant?

Not exactly an August picture, but oh so pretty: tulips in Gardone Riviera, Italy.
