On patrol

Taken during a photo course in Granada, Spain. It's a so-called "hip shot", which literally means it's shot from the hip. No careful composition, no focusing on the subject, just point in the general direction, and shoot. It's a technique often used by street photographers. You end up with a lot of garbage, and the occasional gem.

I liked how this one came out with the officer in the patrol car in focus, and the rest of a street a little blurry.
