Poppies and snail
Poppies are always a grateful subject for photos, but this lot was made extra cute by the small snail that had found its way onto one of the flowers.
Spring grain
I'm really not fond of winter, and January is among the worst of the cold months. So, have a reminder of spring and summer, which can't be coming soon enough...

Orchid Up Close And Personal
One of my attempts at macro photography. It's really hard to get the focal point exactly where you want it, since a deviation of less than a millimeter can make a world of difference. This picture of a small orchid growing in Lauwersmeer National Park worked out reasonably well. I like how the leaves appear to shelter the heart of the flower.
